EAST HUNTINGDON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Three people were taken to the hospital after being injured during an explosion in East Huntingdon Township.
Medical helicopters were used to transport two patients who suffered flash burns. The third patient was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

The explosion happened around 4:30 p.m. Friday at a business called Fleet Services that repairs tanker trucks.
According to Westmoreland County Dispatch, both victims who suffered flash burns are expected to survive. The third victim is still in critical condition.
Fire officials told Channel 11 the roof of the building collapsed about 20 minutes after the explosion.

Thick, black smoke was visible from miles away as Chopper 11 approached, and shortly after arriving another explosion was visible.
