EXPORT, Pa. — Two local animal rescues are investigating after 37 cats were found dumped in a field in Export.
According to Ninth Life Rescue Center, the cats were found in a field alone off of Athena Drive and were too terrified to move.
The group of cats was found by good Samaritans and they are all safe now. The rescue group said that all of the cats are in “pretty good health” aside from matting and fleas.
None of the cats were spayed or neutered.
Vet costs for the group will total over $4000 between both rescue groups, and donations are appreciated.
If you have any information about this or for information about donating, contact Nine Lives Rescue Center at 724-217-4257 or Wayward Animal Rescue at 724-610-9646.
