Burglar claims to have coronavirus before spitting on troopers, police say

HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A burglary suspect is facing even more charges after Pennsylvania State Police say he claimed to have coronavirus and spit on troopers.

Joseph Good broke into a house in Hempfield Township and stole a television, according to police.

After being put into the back of a police cruiser, troopers said Good told them he had coronavirus, started coughing and said, “Now you’re all going to get it.”

Troopers put a mask on Good before he got to prison and he was also put into a 14-day quarantine as a precaution.
