Wild Card Week: Here are some activities the Steelers have planned ahead of Saturday’s playoff game

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers kick off post-season play this weekend when they visit the Baltimore Ravens, but the team has a series of activities to help you get your head in the game at home.

“Steelers football is part of the fabric of western Pennsylvania, making Wild Card Playoff Week an exceptionally exciting time,” said Steelers Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Ryan Huzjak. “As the playoff atmosphere builds, we’re excited to offer a series of events, activities and initiatives that provide Steelers fans in Pittsburgh and across the globe with ways to be a part of the excitement and show support for the team.”

The activities include:

• Playoff Sweepstakes presented by Neighborhood Ford Store
• Enter to win a trip for two to the Steelers Wild Card game in Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium and a $250 VISA gift card. The winner will receive: Two game tickets to the Steelers vs. Ravens game, a two-night stay in Baltimore, and roundtrip airfare for two. Enter by noon ET on Wednesday, January 8 at steelers.com/playoffs-sweeps.
• Steelers Nation Unite Playoff Party presented by Neighborhood Ford Store
• Fans can get pumped for the game at the Playoff Party at Tequila Cowboy on the North Shore on Saturday, Jan. 11 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Prizes, giveaways and appearances by Steelers Legends will be featured. No tickets are required but fans are encouraged to RSVP by visiting steelers.com/playoffparty.
• Towel Twirls Around the World
• Recognizing that Steelers Nation doesn’t just represent the Black & Gold in Pittsburgh but everywhere in the world, fans can show their support for the Steelers from wherever they are around the globe on social media by posting photos or videos of themselves twirling their Terrible Towel.
• Fans are encouraged to post their Towel Twirl photos and videos on X, Instagram, TikTok, and/or Facebook using #HereWeGo along with the city from which they are showing their Steelers support. The Steelers and Steelers Nation Unite social media accounts will share posts made by fans throughout the week. Alternatively, Towel Twirl photos and videos can be submitted through Steelers.com or the Steelers Official Mobile App.

• Black & Gold Fridays
• Fans are encouraged to show support for the Steelers by donning Black & Gold on Friday, January 10. Fans can showcase Steelers pride by submitting photos of their Black & Gold attire at steelers.com/playoffs (scroll down on the page) or by using the hashtag #HereWeGo for a chance to be featured on Steelers social media.
• Playoff Rally Cards at Steelers Pro Shop Locations
• 2024 Playoff Rally Cards are available at all Steelers Pro Shop locations (Acrisure Stadium, Grove City Premium Outlets and Tanger Outlets). Limit two per person. Fans are encouraged to display their rally cards throughout the week. While at a Pro Shop location or online, fans can also purchase the latest Steelers gear.
• Paint the Town Black & Gold
• Evenings this week through Saturday night, some of the city’s most iconic buildings and bridges will be lit black and gold.
• Beginning Tuesday evening, two playoff-themed ice sculptures will be placed around the city for fan photo opportunities. Fans are encouraged to visit the ice sculptures located at the Thomas J. Gallagher Overlook on Mount Washington (across from St. Mary of the Mount Church) and the Terminal in the Strip District outside the 18th Street passageway to snap a photo and share using the hashtag #HereWeGo.
• Adding to the playoff atmosphere, store fronts and windows across the city will be stenciled with the Steelers playoff graphics, and decals will line sidewalks in parts of the North Shore, Mount Washington, Strip District and South Side Works.

The Steelers take on the Ravens in Baltimore at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11.
