Woman arrested in fatal 2013 home invasion robbery

PITTSBURGH — Police in western Pennsylvania have arrested the second of three people being sought in a fatal 2013 home invasion robbery in a Pittsburgh suburb.

Sgt. Scott Scherer of the Allegheny County police department said 21-year-old Tanika Paul of Pittsburgh was arrested during a traffic stop Friday in Wilkinsburg.

Paul is charged with criminal homicide, conspiracy, robbery and simple assault in the November 2013 robbery in Coraopolis (kor-ee-AH'-poh-lus).

Authorities allege intruders seeking drugs and money pulled 39-year-old Thomas Cassano from a bedroom, shot him and fled.

Twenty-two-year-old Bradley Kemp of Wilkinsburg was arrested last fall. Twenty-four-year-old Rasheim Wallace of Wilkinsburg is still being sought.

Court documents don't list an attorney for Paul who could respond to the charges; a message left at a number listed in her name wasn't immediately returned.
