MCKEESPORT, Pa. — A woman was killed when a vehicle crashed into a utility pole in McKeesport on Wednesday evening.
According to Allegheny County 911, police, fire and EMS units were called to the 2100 block of East Fifth Avenue at 6:15 p.m.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Joanie McCalla, 49. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s not clear at this time if McCalla was driving the vehicle or was a passenger at the time of the crash.
At least two people were taken to hospitals for injuries.
