WHITEHALL, Pa. — A woman was stabbed to death in Whitehall Wednesday night and police are searching for the suspect.
Allegheny County police said the stabbing happened in the 1600 block of Skyline Drive at 6:39 p.m.
Shana Maxwell, 37, was found stabbed to death.
Allegheny County Homicide detectives took over the investigation and spent the day on scene Thursday.
A friend of Shana’s told Channel 11 she was a special person.
“She was a great person. She was loving. One of the last things I told her last time I spoke to her is she really is too good for this world. She was always caring. If someone needed help, if someone needed a hand, she was always gonna be there and she’d give you her last couple dollars if she had it. Iit really is a loss for this community.”
