PITTSBURGH — Homicide detectives are investigating after a woman was found shot to death inside a car in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood.
Police spokeswoman Sonya Toler said someone called 911 just before 6:30 a.m. Saturday to report a vehicle that had driven into a pole on Dove Way.
When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they discovered a woman inside the vehicle who had been fatally shot in the head, Toler said.
The medical examiner’s office identified the woman as Kimberly Waller, 43, of Pittsburgh. An autopsy is planned for Sunday.
