UNIONTOWN, Pa. — A pair of siblings helped provide warm Easter dinners for their neighbors in Uniontown.
Enzo and Eleanor Carei made ham with pineapple sauce, parslied red potatoes, green beans and dessert for their community.
They served meals, handed them out as to-go dinners and even made sure people who could not leave their homes were able to have a warm meal.
They were able to share the food during an event hosted by the Neighborhood Crime Watch. The organization has been hosting the event for over four years.
Over 200 people were served and 100 people received Easter baskets.
“It seemed the best way to give their gifts to the community and during the holidays and a time of need,” said chef and father Joe Carei.
Enzo and Eleanor also have a cooking channel called Little Eez Cooking Camp.
They say they love giving back and helping other people.
