Medical examiner identifies man found shot to death in Garfield

PITTSBURGH — A man died Sunday, shortly after being found shot multiple times in Pittsburgh's Garfield neighborhood, city police said.

Police said ShotSpotter alerted Zone 5 officers that multiple shots had been fired in the 500 block of Fannel Street just after 10 p.m.

Police found a man along a fence line who had been shot multiple times, including in the head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim Monday evening as Ahmad Foreman, 18, of Pittsburgh.
