PITTSBURGH — Roughly an hour before a chilly, soggy sunrise in Pittsburgh, people started receiving wristbands for the Play it Forward Pittsburgh 2019 Toy Drive. It’s an event to help families in need make the holiday season a little brighter.
Dozens upon dozens of tables lined the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, filled with tens of thousands of donated toys.
Play it Forward Pittsburgh is a gently used toy drive in its ninth year of collection and distribution.
