Police: Missing 4-year-old left with man at Walmart while mother ran errands

SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — Police have been searching through the night for a 4-year-old girl who they said was last seen at a Walmart in Georgia.

The mother of 4-year-old Obrielle Curry told police she left her child with a man at the Walmart on Old National Highway on Tuesday while she ran errands. When she returned to the store, her daughter and the man, identified by police as Moses Allen, were gone.

The woman called 911 around 10:30 p.m. to report their disappearance.

Obrielle is described as a 3-foot, 70-pound girl with dark skin. She was last seen wearing a black shirt with bold letters, black shorts and black shoes.

Allen is 6 feet tall, 205 pounds and has a lighter complexion, according to police. He was last seen wearing khaki pants, a white shirt and black shoes.

South Fulton police Detective Partrena Smith said Obrielle's mother and Allen are friends. Officers are actively searching for the two.

“They’ve been out all night searching, looking and canvassing the area,” Smith said.
