Prince William gave Middleton the same engagement ring his father gave to the late Princess Diana -- an 18-carat white gold ring with a 12-carat oval sapphire and 14 round diamonds.

Middleton asked her sister, Philippa Middleton, to be her maid of honor, and Prince William's brother, Prince Harry, will be the best man.

The marriage of Prince William and Middleton will take place at Westminster Abbey.

Two choirs, one orchestra and two fanfare teams will perform the music at the wedding service.

For the first time in history, the ceremony will be recorded and released digitally.

Following the service, Prince William and Middleton will travel in the 1902 State Landau along the processional route to Buckingham Palace. In the event of wet weather, the couple will travel in the Glass Coach.

The 1902 State Landau was built for King Edward VII and was intended to be used at his coronation. The Glass Coach was built in 1881 and was purchased for use at King George V's coronation in 1911. There will be five horse-drawn carriages in the procession.

The procession will pass by some of London's most well-known landmarks, including the Queen Victoria monument, The Mall, Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall, the Cenotaph and the Houses of Parliament, not to mention two of London's best-loved royal parks, St. James's Park and The Green Par.

The wedding reception will be held at Buckingham Palace and hosted by the queen.

Prince William and Middleton chose cake designer Fiona Cairns to create their wedding cake. It will be a multi-tiered traditional fruit cake.

The couple also asked McVitie's Cake Co. to create a chocolate biscuit cake for the reception. The chocolate biscuit cake is a royal family recipe and was requested by Prince William.

Prince William and Middleton have set up a charitable gift fund for those who wish to donate to charity to help the couple celebrate their wedding.
