NOAA meteorologist accused of sucking teen boy's toes

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — Maryland police are calling it a "peculiar" case.

David Soroka, 53, faces a handful of sexual misconduct charges.

The federal meteorologist is accused of licking, smelling and sucking a 13-year-old boy's feet on nearly a dozen occasions in a bedroom in his home he called the "Room of Pain."

Soroka bonded out of jail the same day he was arrested.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration meteorologist earns $140,000 a year.

Soroka has worked for the agency for 24 years. NOAA says he's been placed on administrative leave.
