COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA — A nuclear weapons complex in South Carolina declared an emergency late Wednesday afternoon.

the emergency response came after a suspicious object was located in a bathroom, wrapped in paper towels with a flashing light on it.
Crews investigated the object and quickly declared it "non-threatening."
It turns out it was an air freshener like many others used in the heavily guarded atomic weapons complex. Officials don't know why it was left wrapped in paper towels in the bathroom but have launched an investigation.
