PITTSBURGH — People and facilities across the Pittsburgh region are stepping up to offer help for couples affected by the sudden, unannounced closure of Noah’s Event Venue. Many were left scrambling after the national chain of reception halls shut down without warning in Cranberry and Canonsburg.

The Sunshine Room
The Sunshine Room in Bridgeville has plenty of dates available for this year and can offer special packages for your special day. Contact them at snpysygan@gmial.com for more information and possible discounts.
Zuppa’s Deli
Zuppa’s Deli has multiple locations around the Pittsburgh area and says their facilities can hold up to 50 people. They can cater, however, for up to 300 guests. Anyone affected by the closure can call 724-934-4700 and ask for Mike, or email mkyle@zuppasdeli.com for more information.
St. John Cathedral Center
The St. John Cathedral Center can accommodate over 400 people. The facility does have dates for this year and next year open and there is plenty of parking on site. Contact Judy at 412-461-0944 for more information.
Cathedral Room at St. Nicholas
Stacie de la Parra, event coordinator with The Cathedral Room at St. Nicholas said they are willing to help out any brides affected by the closure. Call 412-682-4000 or check out their website for more information.
Sunset Room

Slippery Rock University

The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres

Monarch Institute
Officials with the Monarch Institute in Butler said they are more than happy to help any of the couples affected by the sudden closure of Noah’s. Discounts are being offered for remaining 2020 dates to anyone affected by the closures.

Director of Sales & Marketing, Kate Knecht, told Channel 11 “my team and I are heartbroken for the couples affected by the sudden closure of Noah’s Event Venue and would love to help them still have the wedding of their dreams.” Knecht said if you need help relocating your reception, they can offer incentives, especially for those who have 2020 dates. Aubrey’s Dubbs Dred Golf Course

Smith Farms
Smith Farms wedding pavilion will be accepting guests starting in June. The facility has many dates available for this year as well as 2021. The venue said they are willing to accommodate couples affected with a discounted rate as well. Call 724-679-9710 or CLICK HERE for more information.
Treesdale Golf and Country Club

Hilton Garden Inn, Oakland
The Hilton Garden Inn in Oakland is offering special discounts to any couples affected and they are willing to recreate any special menus that couples were planning on serving on their special day. Pittsburgh Airport Marriott

Gateway Clipper Fleet

Carnegie Science Center
The Carnegie Science Center still has 2020 dates available and said they will work with couples to make sure their day is magical. Hungry Heart Ink is offering stationery services essentially at cost. Tara Buck, the creative director, said she wants to help the couples make something beautiful out of a truly terrible situation in the form of stationery, maybe even make light of it. Hill Crest Country Club
The country club is offering 50 percent off in their normal deposit needed to formalize a reservation along with no room fee and a complimentary champagne toast for all of the guests.
