Ken Krawchuk is a veteran candidate in Pennsylvania politics, having run for township commissioner, state and U.S. representative, and governor in the past 25 years.
Krawchuk, 65, a Philadelphia native, is the Libertarian Party's candidate for Pennsylvania governor, four years after his last gubernatorial campaign fell short of the number of signatures needed to get on the ballot.
Krawchuk is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University and president of an IT consulting firm. He has invented several database management systems.
Krawchuk promises to veto all tax increases and eliminate the state’s personal income tax in four years. He also wants to decriminalize all drugs, allow parents complete control over school choice, and prevent taxation of fracking.
He lives in Abington. He and his wife have three daughters.
