While New York watches residents flee the state due to violent crime, Alvin Bragg decides to turn a blind eye to attack a former president to score political points.

Like the two previous impeachments, this sham is nothing more than an outrageous abuse of power. Americans are…
Rep. Summer Lee (D) released the following statement:
“In America, our judicial system hinges on the idea that every person is subject to the same laws. Donald Trump is an American citizen and he must be subject to the law just like the rest of us. He doesn’t get to be above the law just because he is rich and formerly powerful. That’s what our democracy relies on.
“Americans deserve to trust that if anyone in elected office abuses their power by breaking campaign finance laws to hide information from voters and sway an election, they will be investigated, charged, and convinced in accordance with due process. The same goes for the many other even-more-serious criminal acts for which Trump is being investigated.
“Now that the grand jury has voted to indict, I hope and pray that we as a country - especially our elected leaders - will come together and let our judicial system serve its purpose without the kind of intimidation, interference, or incitement of violence we’re seeing from the former President on social media once again tonight. Our democracy and the communities we serve depend on that.”
Rep. Dan Meuser (R) tweeted his reaction:
Alvin Bragg, who ran on indicting DJT, is living up to his campaign promise. His legacy will now be of an outrageous weaponization of the Justice System. This indictment is a sad attempt by a politically-motivated prosecutor to harm Trump's campaign. Legally pathetic!

Rep. Dwight Evans (D) posted the following message to social media:
Today, Trump is starting to see a shred of accountability for his actions. No one is above the law, and Trump must be held responsible. https://t.co/KC6whcQXag
