Saturday bomb threats at Pitt cleared

PITTSBURGH — Some of the bomb threats at the University of Pittsburgh on Saturday have been cleared.

Six buildings were evacuated around 10 a.m. on Saturday after another rash of bomb threats.

A Pitt Emergency Notification System alert said the threats had been received at Litchfield Towers, Salk Hall, the Cathedral of Learning, Pa Hall, Ruskin Hall and Scaife Hall.

Threats for Litchfield Towers, Salk Hall and Scaife Hall were cleared.

Since mid-February, the campus has received more than 100 bomb threats. No explosive devices have been found in any of the threats.
