SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — A Slippery Rock University student doing laundry at her off-campus apartment said she came face-to-face with a man in a mask stealing her underwear.
Paxton Fetterman said she threw her stuff in the washer, walked back to her apartment to drop off the detergent and then headed out again.
“I saw a guy in there in the laundry room. I went over to see what he was doing,” Fetterman said.

When she got back, she saw a guy in the laundry room. At first she thought it was another students moving her laundry out of the washing machine, and then she noticed he was wearing a mask.
Fetterman said he ran out with her stuff and she called police, who are now investigating.
She is now speaking out, knowing this could’ve gone sideways quick and wants to alert other women.
“He was much bigger than me. He could’ve push me down, I could’ve been hurt it could’ve been a lot worse,” Fetterman said.
State police are investigating and looking for any type of surveillance cameras to try to track this guy down. His entire face was covered so she did not get a good look at him at all.
