Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his Week 2 performance.

Roethlisberger was 21-of-27 for 369 yards and three touchdowns (passer rating of 155.8) against the San Francisco 49ers.

Sunday was No. 7's 39^th career 300-yard game during the regular season and the 31^st time he threw at least three touchdowns in a single game during the regular season.

Roethlisberger has thrown at least one touchdown pass in 33 straight home games, which is the second-longest active streak and the sixth-longest streak in NFL history.

This marks the 12^th time Roethlisberger has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week and the first time since taking home such honors in back-to-back weeks (Weeks 8-9) in 2014.
