PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh’s Chief Meteorologist Stephen Cropper is tracking storms moving throughout much of the Channel 11 viewing area.
“Storms are developing south and east of Pittsburgh,” Cropper said. “Storms are scattered now and will pick up throughout the afternoon and evening.”

Cropper said heavy rain, damaging wind and lightning appear to be the main concerns with this round of storms.
