MURRYSVILLE, Pa. — A man riding a motorcycle was killed and another person was hurt Wednesday in a crash in Murrysville.
Gregg Leipertz Jr., 24, was riding westbound on Route 380 when he slammed into a car that was pulling out of Fairview Lane. He died shortly afterwards.
Speed may have been a factor, but Pennsylvania State Police are still investigating the crash. A neighbor told Channel 11 this is known to be a dangerous intersection.

The driver of the car was flown to UPMC Presbyterian after being extricated from her car.
Firefighters had to remove the roof to get her out, but police say the woman was talking and conscious before being flown to the hospital.
It’s unclear how badly the woman was hurt.
