PITTSBURGH — A rollover crash Thursday morning in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood left one person dead.
The driver of a Jeep Wrangler was traveling on Penn Avenue about 8:30 a.m. when the vehicle struck a parked car and rolled over near the intersection with Foster Way, police said.
Edward Schrenker, 58, was in critical condition when he was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital, where he later died, police said.
The parked car struck by the Jeep was pushed into two other parked vehicles.
None of the parked vehicles were occupied, police said.
Penn Avenue was temporarily closed between 38th and 39th streets.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
