DUQUESNE, Pa. — A woman was injured Friday night after a drive-by shooting in Duquesne.
Police were alerted to North Second Street for shots fired just after 10 p.m., according to authorities.
Neighbors who live in the area said they are concerned.
“It’s bad. It’s really sad,” one neighbor told Channel 11. “Every time I turn around, someone is getting hurt or shot or killed.”

People who live here want something done with the gun violence.
Larry Turner moved to Duquesne two years ago from the Bronx, New York.
He lives close to where the shooting happened and said police could make a real difference to stop the gunfire.
“They need to put a lot of police on the street, instead of putting cameras up, they need to do that,” Turner said. “Like they did in New York - where police walk the beats and all that.”
Duquesne Police Chief said the victim was shot in the leg and hand, and her injuries are not life threatening.
