16-year-old girl, her newborn son found safe after being missing from West Mifflin

WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — A 16-year-old girl and her 3-week-old son have been found safe after being reported missing to police in West Mifflin.

The department asked for the public’s help finding Yeimi Lorenzo Benites and her son, Fernando Lorenzo.

Benites and her baby were last seen Wednesday, police said. They were thought to be traveling to a family member’s home in Houston, Texas.
