PITTSBURGH — A 16-year-old boy was shot early Monday morning in Pittsburgh’s Mount Washington neighborhood, police said.
The teenager showed up at a Pittsburgh hospital with a gunshot wound to his right arm. He told police he was leaving Secane Avenue when he was shot.
Officers went to Secane Avenue just before 1 a.m. after getting a ShotSpotter alert for shots fired. At that time, there was a group of people leaving a party at an apartment that was being used as an Airbnb.
Police said there were no shooting victims at the scene, but a car on the street was damaged by the gunfire.
About an hour later, the 16-year-old showed up at the hospital.
