BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. — The Big Butler Fair is back. It’s one of the largest fairs in the state, and it kicked off Friday after taking a year off.
Folks are happy that community events are back in full swing with no restrictions since the state has lifted all of its COVID-19 mitigation orders.
“It’s really incredible. We come here every year other than, of course, last year,” said Yarone Zober.
This is the 165th edition of the Big Butler Fair and organizers are expecting more than 100,000 people to attend the event, which runs through July 10.
“It’s nice to have a little bit of normalcy and share some things we enjoyed as kids with our kids now,” said Rianna Liebenguth.
Gavon Slater, vice president of Big Butler Fairgrounds, said the attractions include amusement rides, games, food stands, and live music.
