LUZERNE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — State troopers are trying to track down leads for a murder suspect after they found 19-year-old Damani Wilson of Uniontown gunned down at a home on Keeny Row Road in Luzerne Township Thursday.
“I don’t believe he lived there and I don’t know why he was there. I know he was from Uniontown, so we’re not sure if he was staying there with friends, we’re not sure at this time,” explained Trooper Robert Broadwater.
Neighbors say they heard a lot of commotion Thursday afternoon and saw a crowd of people gathering outside of the house, but never heard any gunshots.
“There’s no reason for the public to be alarmed. We believe this was an isolated incident, just trying to work those angles and make sure it was an isolated incident.”
Neighbors didn’t want to go on camera, but said they’ve noticed a lot of traffic coming and going from the house for years, but it’s gotten worse in the last six months.
State police say at this point they don’t know and can’t release a motive, and at this point, investigators don’t have any suspects in custody.
“It’s right outside Republic, which is a populated area. We’ve had dealings on Keeny Row Road, we’ve been out there before but nothing out of the ordinary.”
State police say that anyone who may have any information about this homicide should call them.
