PITTSBURGH — There were 200 more cases and eight more hospitalizations reported in Allegheny County as a result of COVID-19.
According to the health department, Sunday’s new cases brings the total number to 4,962 cases since the outbreak began. There were no new deaths reported Sunday.

Today’s 4,962 cases include 200 new cases & 8 new hospitalizations out of 1,990 tests. There are no new deaths reported. The newest cases range from 2 mos- 95 yrs with 35 being the median age. Positive tests span June 26-July 11. pic.twitter.com/nieNq91u84
Health officials said the average age of the new patients was 35.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported Sunday, that there are 725 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 95,414.
The number of tests administered within the past 7 days between July 5 and July 11 was 137,084 with 5,314 positive test results.
The number of deaths associated with COVID-19 will be updated on Monday
