YOUNGWOOD BOROUGH, Pa. — PHOTOS: Suspects in death of man stabbed 20+ times
Matthew Genard, 50, was found dead Friday at a home on Wineman Lane. He had been stabbed more than 20 times, primarily in his back and neck, and his throat was slit, police said.
Investigators determined that the suspects -- Christopher “C.J.” David, 40; Michael Covington, 20; Jason Sullenberger, 40; and Linda Quidetto, 40 -- conspired to rob and kill Genard, motivated by money and drugs.
Quidetto, Sullenberger and Covington were arrested Wednesday night and taken to the Westmoreland County Prison. David has not been located.
According to a criminal complaint, David held Genard in a chokehold while Covington and Sullenberger repeatedly stabbed him on Nov. 9. They then stole about $1,100 in cash, heroin, cocaine and marijuana, and removed Genard’s jeans to take cash from his pockets and his cellphone, the complaint said.

After splitting the stolen money among the three of them, David, Sullenberger and Covington placed items of clothing and Genard’s cellphone in a garbage bag, the complaint said. The bag was discarded in the garage of an abandoned home on South Third Street, and later taken to another home and burned in a fire pit.
