Young was shot in his bed by a bullet that entered his home on Rhine Place when there was a shootout with multiple people outside on Aug. 24. The bullet that killed Young went through a window and two walls before hitting the boy.
Police have not said which of the three men charged fired the fatal shot.
Police officers rushed Young to the hospital. According to public safety officials, a police sergeant was driving while two officers held the baby in the back seat and worked to control the bleeding.

Young was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Police said they were able to identify Crawford, 29, of McKeesport, and tie him to the shooting through surveillance footage.
Eve Crawford, Andre Crawford’s mother, told Channel 11 News her son is not responsible for Young’s death.
“My son did not kill the baby. I want the full story out there. He did not kill that baby. I feel terribly for that family,” she said.
