PITTSBURGH — Three teenagers are charged as adults for an armed street robbery late Saturday night in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood, police said.
According to a criminal complaint, the victim was walking in the area of Forbes and Meyran avenues, toward Schenley Park, when he noticed the teenagers following him. He was then pushed to the ground and the teens said, “Give me your money.”
The victim told police that one of the teenagers was holding a gun, the complaint said. The victim reported that his wallet, car keys and house keys were taken before all three teens fled toward Phipps Conservatory.

Police were given a description of the teenagers by the victim. While officers were still talking with the victim, the teens walked past them before running.
Officers caught up with all three teenagers, identified as 17-year-old Jabril Terron-Lee, 17-year-old J'von Brown and a 16-year-old. Brown, who had a gun, told officers, “Man, you guys are faster than the cops in The Hill," according to the complaint.
Charges against Brown include robbery, carrying a firearm without a license and simple assault. Lee faces charges including robbery and simple assault.
