PITTSBURGH — A 3-year-old girl was injured after she was hit by a car in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, the driver kept going after they hit the child at the intersection of Biscayne Drive and Edgar Street.
The child was taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to police.
A neighbors surveillance camera caught the moment it happened. The man who gave the surveillance video to the police says the girl was thrown at least 15 or 20-feet.

‘I’m like ‘Oh my God.’ I mean she was playing with her family and ran out to catch a ball or something? That’s ridiculous,” said Carrick resident Linda Buzzelli.
Buzzelli said this neighborhood is a hotbed for speeding.
Police are looking for a light green or gray 4-door sedan last seen headed towards Brownsville Road with possible front end damage.
