McCANDLESS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A 5-year-old girl died after she was hit by a car Wednesday night in McCandless Township, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
The girl, Loujain Olleak, of Wexford, was hit shortly before 8 p.m. in a parking lot along Salisbury Court, according to the medical examiner’s office.
She was taken to a hospital, where she died just after 8:30 p.m.
The McCandless Polcie Chief told Channel 11′s Michele Newell investigators believe the girl may have accidentally walked in front of a car.
Police are still investigating and haven’t determined if charges will be filed.
