Police: Man assaulted woman with Taser, left scene with 8-month-old

PITTSBURGH — A arrest warrant was issued for a Duquesne man after police say he assaulted a woman with a Taser-like device and then left with his 8-month-old daughter.

Nicholas Lomax, 28, is wanted on assault and weapons charges after the incident in the 700 block of Middle Avenue in the Borough of Wilmerding around 9:50 a.m.

Police responded to a domestic incident, where a woman was assaulted in the street by Lomax with a Taser-like device. She suffered cuts to the face and leg.

Lomax left the scene with the 8-month-old before police arrived and the Pennsylvania State Police issued the missing endangered person advisory for the McKees Rocks Police Department.

The infant was later found safe at a home in Versailles Borough.
