PITTSBURGH — Additional locations could be open in the weeks leading up to Election Day on Nov. 3 for people to return mail-in ballots and vote over-the-counter.
According to the Allegheny County Elections Division, the plan will be discussed in detail at its upcoming meeting this Thursday.
The Elections Board will be conducting a virtual meeting on Sept 17 at 2 PM to review plans for the 2020 Presidential Election. The proposed plan includes the following board offices and hours:
Saturday, Oct. 10: 9 a.m to 5 p.m. & Sunday, Oct. 11: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

- North Park Ice Rink
- South Park Ice Rink
- DPW Garage #2 (Carnegie)
- CCAC Homewood
Saturday, Oct. 17: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. & Sunday, Oct. 18: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- County office building
- South Park Ice Rink
- CCAC South
- Boyce Park Ski Lodge
- Shop 'n Save Hill District
Saturday, Oct. 24: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. & Sunday, Oct. 25: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

County officials said that each location will have access to the voter registration database and people will be able to return ballots at any location regardless of where they live in the county.
