PITTSBURGH — Allegheny County reported 147 new positive cases, and 2 additional deaths Thursday, according to the Allegheny County Health Department.
With Thursday’s new cases, the Allegheny County’s total is now at 6,817 cases. The new positive cases come out of 1,172 test results from that span from July 6 through July 22. That’s a 12.5% positivity rate.

New cases range in age from 9 to 93 years with a median age of 38 years.
There were 15 new hospitalizations in the last 24 hours.

The total number of people who have died from coronavirus complications is 219. The deaths are of an 80-year-old and 87-year-old whose dates of death are June 28 and July 22.
