PITTSBURGH — Allegheny County reported less than 100 new positive cases, and 8 additional deaths Wednesday, according to the Allegheny County Health Department.
With Wednesday’s new 96 cases, the Allegheny County’s total is now at 6,670 cases. The new positive cases come out of 1,617 test results from that span from July 7 to July 21.

Also, 16 reported hospitalizations is the second most we’ve seen since the pandemic began.
In the newest cases, ages range from 1 to 92 years old with the average patient age being 37.

The total number of people who have died from coronavirus complications is 217. The most recently reported deaths range in age from 78 to 96 years with the average age being 81.
There have been a total of 631 new positive COVID-19 cases across the state, the Pennsylvania Department of Health reported Wednesday. The new cases brings the statewide total to 103,396.
