Allegheny County homicide unit responds to shooting in Harrison Township

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to a request for assistance in Harrison Township.

According to the Allegheny County Police Department, at approximately 7:15 p.m., County 911 was notified of a shooting in the 400 block of Park Avenue.

First responders found a 30-year-old male victim shot, according to police. The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

Homicide detectives initiated an investigation.
