PITTSBURGH — Allegheny County Common Pleas Administrative Judge Kim Eaton is under fire after posting a photo on social media with her husband dressed as a Capitol rioter.

Her husband’s costume resembled one worn by an Arizona man now facing federal charges for breaking into the building.

Eaton sent a statement to Channel 11 saying:

“My family and I were very excited about the new administration in Washington and were celebrating this historic inauguration today when the photo was taken. In our celebration, I exercised poor judgment and I realize that the photo sends the wrong message given the tragic events of January 6th.”

Eaton also issued an apology on social media, saying she was being “attacked by the media” and that her “heart is broken.”
