ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. — There were 215 new COVID-19 cases reported in Allegheny County in the last 48 hours.
According to the Allegheny County Health Department, 185 of the new cases are confirmed cases and 30 are probable.
Newly confirmed cases were out of 2,772 tests, a 7.8% positivity rate.

Positive tests were from Oct. 12 to Oct. 18, and the new cases ranged in age from 3 years old to 99 years old.
No new deaths were reported.
Since March 14, there have been 13,821 cases of COVID-19 in Allegheny County residents, 1,325 hospitalizations and 403 deaths.

Statewide, there were 2,372 new COVID-19 cases reported over the last two days. There were 1,103 new cases reported Monday and 1,269 new cases reported Sunday.
The statewide total stands at 183,315 cases.
There were 26 new deaths reported Sunday and 8 new deaths reported Monday, bringing the total number of deaths to 8,500 deaths.
