NATRONA, Pa. — The Allegheny River will close completely from Nov. 6 to Dec. 22.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced Tuesday the river closure is because of scheduled maintenance at Lock and Dam 4.
The maintenance is being done near Natrona.
Repairs will be made to the lock gates.
