MOUNT PLEASANT, Pa. — The Mount Pleasant Borough Police Department busted a residence on Friday after a month-long drug investigation, officials said.
Police raided the Pleasant Acres Apartments in Mount Pleasant, and they found thousands of dollars worth of drugs.
Crack cocaine, heroin and marijuana were being produced and sold in the neighborhood, according to police.
According to police, they discovered 29 bricks of heroin, 89 grams of marijuana, 22 grams of crack-cocaine, and 12.5 grams of cocaine. Police said the drugs are valued at $21,000 total.
Also, police discovered three stolen handguns and nearly $6,500 in cash inside the home and in a trash bag behind the building.
Police said three men have been arrested in connection with the bust and are being held in the Westmoreland County Prison, each of them on bonds of $100,000.
The department thanked the public for their anonymous tips.
