Apollo woman accused of assault, throwing rocks at car during fight

KISKI TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman was arrested in Westmoreland County Sunday afternoon after police say she threw rocks at a person and a car during a fight over a drug debt.

Carrigan Beecher, 19, of Apollo, got into a fight with another person just before 2 p.m. over a $100 drug debt, police said.

During the fight, Beecher is accused of throwing rocks at the person and a vehicle as part of the assault.

An officer went to Beechers house on Isabella Avenue, and found she was in possession of a methamphetamine pipe, according to police.

She’s accused of resisting arrest while being taken into custody.

The officer went to Beecher’s residence along Isabella Avenue at which time she was found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe. When the officer attempted to take her into custody she began to resist arrest. Beecher was ultimately subdued and taken into custody then transported to the station.

Beecher is facing several charges including simple assault, resisting arrest and propulsion of a missle into an occupied vehicle.
