NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A man was arrested Friday morning in the murder of a nurse originally from Butler County who was shot on a Nashville, Tennessee, highway while on her way to work, police said.
Devaunte Hill, 21, is charged with criminal homicide in the death of Caitlyn Kaufman.
Hill was arrested about 6:15 a.m. at his East Nashville apartment by a SWAT team. Police in Nashville said he gave a statement after his arrest that implicated him.

Earlier in the week, a group of anonymous business owners and entrepreneurs in Nashville contributed to a large monetary reward in the case.
Kaufman, 26, was shot and killed while driving to her job as an ICU nurse at hospital. Her family told Channel 11 moving to Nashville was her lifelong dream.
In addition to the group contribution to the reward, another anonymous man added a $10,000 donation, bringing the total to more than $65,000.
