PITTSBURGH — Police arrested a man for a deadly shooting in Pittsbugh last month.
Raymontay Green, 20, was taken into custody for the death of Darren Green on Aug. 14.
Darren Green was found shot to death after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a house on Bernd Street in Beltzhoover, police said.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter notification, and then a 911 call for a vehicle crashing into a house. When they got on the scene, they found that Darren Green had been shot before the crash.

He died at the scene.
No other passengers were in the vehicle, police said.
The homeowner reported that he heard the car accelerating before driving over the grass, narrowly missing his family member’s car, running over a bush before crashing into the house that he uses for storage.
Raymontay Green is facing several charges including criminal homicide and carrying a firearm without a license.
