RANKIN, Pa. — An arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of shooting a father and son in Rankin.
A man and his teenage son were taking pictures of their car when someone opened fire, according to police.
At one point, the 17-year-old was in critical condition.
Police have issued a warrant for Marquise Gibson.
One of the victims told police a car with heavy, dark-tinted windows pulled up to one of the buildings in Hawkins Village last Thursday.
A man wearing all black — hoodie, jeans and a mask — got out of the right front passenger side and began to walk toward both victims. He then began firing.
The suspect started running away and, according to the victim, after the shooter began firing, he pulled the black mask down from his face.
That’s when police say the victim was able to identify the suspect as Gibson, who had an issue with the other victim that stemmed from this summer.
The victim was also able to out Gibson from a photo lineup.
Gibson is facing a number of charges, including attempted homicide.
