Man wanted in connection with deadly NYE triple shooting in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police are looking for man they say pulled the trigger and killed three people on New Year’s Eve.

Investigators issued an arrest warrant for Ronald Steave, 29, in connection with shooting deaths of Nandi Fitzgerald, Tatiana Hill, both 28, and 12-year-old Denzel Nowlin. The shooting happened in the 7500 block of Hamilton Ave. in the city’s Homewood neighborhood.

When officers arrived at the home on Hamilton Ave., they found one of the women had been shot in the head. SWAT officers searched the home and found the other two victims.

Last week, family and friends gathered to remember Fitzgerald, Hill and Nowlin with a balloon release.

This isn’t the first time this family experience tragedy. Fitzgerald’s son drowned last June.
