NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — A judge lowered the bond for the man accused of shooting three people at a baby shower last fall.
According to our partners at TribLIVE.com, 25-year-old Isiah Jumaane Hampton was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of reckless endangerment.
The gunshots erupted around 6 p.m. on Sept. 20 inside the Kinloch Fire Hall. Hampton was the father-to-be of the child for which the baby shower was being thrown. The victims were a 23-year-old man, a 19-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy.

Investigators said a family argument got out of hand and that’s when Hampton reportedly pulled out a 9mm handgun and started firing in front of the crowd of 30 people. Court papers said a woman slapped Hampton, he shoved her backwards and he then fell to the ground. He pulled out the gun and started shooting at people trying to intervene.
Assistant Public Defender Mike Garofalo said in court that there was “a very strong case of self-defense.”
Bond was originally set at $250,000. It was reduced to $75,000.
